Restaurant ‘De Oude Tol’ is gelegen in een prachtige, historische omgeving aan de Scheveningseweg. Met het magnifieke uitzicht op het Vredespaleis, is het terras van ons restaurant een heerlijke plek voor een verse kop koffie of een lekkere lunch. Onze locatie biedt een aangename stek voor wandelaars en dagrecreanten van de Scheveningse Bosjes maar wij zijn er natuurlijk ook voor de lokale gast, de harde werker en de nieuwsgierige toerist.
De Oude Tol is een ideale plek voor een ontbijt, lunch of voor een gezellige borrel met vrienden, familie of collega’s.

Restaurant ‘De Oude Tol’ is located in a beautiful, historic area at the foot of the Scheveningseweg. With the magnificent view on the Peace Palace, the terrace of our restaurant is a wonderful place for a fresh cup of coffee or a delicious lunch. Our location offers a pleasant spot for hikers and visitors of the Scheveningse Bosjes, but of course we are also there for the local guest, the hard worker and the curious tourist.
De Oude Tol is an ideal spot for breakfast, lunch or some drinks with your friends, family or colleagues.

“In het midden van 2023 zijn wij, Roland en Michelle, geëmigreerd vanuit het prachtige Durban in Zuid-Afrika. Vol verlangen naar een nieuw avontuur kwamen we het gezellige gebouw van De Oude Tol tegen, en waren we meteen verkocht. Samen hebben we jarenlange ervaring in het runnen van een soortgelijk restaurant in Durban, genaamd ‘Comics Foodbar’. We kunnen niet wachten om onze passie met jou te delen.”

Eager for a new adventure, we came across the charming building of De Oude Tol and were immediately sold. Together, we have many years of experience running a similar restaurant in Durban called ‘Comics Foodbar’. We can’t wait to share our passion with you.”
